Dave Cornthwaite reached a low point at the age of 25; he was completely dissatisfied with his life. Traveling via skateboard changed his view of the town he lived in, and eventually led to Expedition 1000, a mission to take 25 different journeys of 1000 miles or more using a form of non-motorized transport.
