Co-Founder
Before founding MOTHER, Marcely “Raissa” Chagas had over a decade of experience in the media industry, represented by IMG models and creating compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. She is a philanthropist splitting her time between Brazil and Brooklyn, New York.
Growing up in the favelas of Brazil, she left home at the age of 16, lived in more than 10 countries, and speaks 5 languages. Later, after moving to New York in 2020, she met Kelsey Falter, with whom she collaborated on a trait-driven character series. In 2023, she served as an advisor in founding a CPG company in Brazil.
Currently, Raissa is one of the co-founders of MOTHER, where she manages people operations and contributes to the game design through a lens of relevancy and mission.
In her personal life, Raissa is a devoted mother who loves photography, connecting with people, and exploring new cultures.
